
2024 Morrisville Riverdogs Tryout InformationEligibility:
You are eligible to tryout if you live or attend school within the
Morrisville Little League territory or if your league doesn't offer travel.
Ages are based on the player's age as of August 31, 2024.

Players are required to attend one session but are encouraged to attend both sessions.

Tryouts will take place at
Williamson Park.
8U-10U tryouts will take place on the Majors Field.
11U & 12U tryouts will take place on the Softball Field.

- Baseball pants
- Hat
- Players are NOT permitted to wear prior year’s travel jerseys, travel shirts or travel hats. Please also avoid having players wear shirts with their names on the back. Evaluators for each team will intentionally be unfamiliar with the players trying out, so removing potential bias with swag helps ensure a fair tryout for everyone. Players who do not adhere to this requirement will not be permitted to try out.

Expectation of parents:
Once your child is checked in, they will be given a number to apply to their shirt and then instructed to go to the dugout. Parents are required to stay off of the field/dugout area during the entirety of the tryout. Only the manager of the team, the tryout coordinators and the evaluators will be permitted on the field.
Each player is required to participate in the 2024 Spring In House baseball season if selected for a travel team. Payment for 2024 Spring In-House Baseball Registration is due at tryouts.
Payment for Spring In-House baseball fees are as follows:
* The volunteer fee is only required to be paid once per family.
Payment can be provided through a check made out to “Morrisville Little League” or a Venmo payment (@gomll).
Important: All players selected to a travel team must be registered for the 2024 Spring In-House baseball season before participating in any practices or workouts with their travel team. The purpose of this is to ensure all travel players are covered by the league’s insurance policy, which requires each player to be registered for our in-house program. No player is permitted to practice until full payment is made.
What to expect after tryouts:
If your player/player(s) are selected for a travel team, the following is required:
Your Spring 2024 Registration Fee Check will be cashed (if paying by check).
You must register your player(s) online in the Morrisville Little League System.
An additional payment of $375 is required from each player to participate in travel baseball. The check should be made out to 'Morrisville Little League' in the amount of $375. The check will be deposited if the player(s) are selected to a Travel Team.
Instructions for how to register and submit your travel payment will be provided by your travel coach when teams are formed.
