Expectations

What is Expected of Coaches:

To be on time for all practices and games
To be as fair as possible in giving equal time to all players
To do their best to teach the fundamentals of the game
To be positive and respect each child as an individual
To set reasonable expectations for each child and for the season
To teach the players the value of winning AND losing
To never holler at any member of the team, the opposing team, or the umpires
Respect and support league volunteers and umpires
Any confrontation will be handled in a respectful, quiet, and individual manner
Be a positive role model and a model of good sportsmanship

Safety

Equipment

Team Managers are responsible for knowing where to find necessary equipment and should familiarize themselves with the Williamson Park Facilities & Fields.

If you do not know where equipment is located or have questions about the equipment provided, please contact the appropriate Division Coordinator(s).

Please return all equipment to the appropriate storage box, shed, or building after use and lock the storage area.

Please report all broken, damaged or missing equipment immediately to the appropriate Division Coordinator(s) or a Board Member.

First Aid Kits

All fields have first aid kits available.

AA (Transition) Field Storage Box
Tee-Ball #3 Field Storage Box
Tee-Ball #2 (Matthias Field) Storage Box
Batting Cage
Main Concession Stand (Majors Field)
Junior/Senior Field Press Box
Minors Field Press Box

If first aid kits are not available in these locations or need to be replaced or replenished with new suppliers, please contact the League's Safety Officer.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

All Managers and Assistant Coaches from each team must attend AED training. If a training session is needed, please inform a board member or the League's Safety Officer.
AEDs are located in the following places at Williamson Park:
- Indoor Facility/Batting Cage
- Minors Field Press Box
