GENERAL MEETING NOTICE
Morrisville Little League's next general meeting will be held TONIGHT at 8pm, at Dacey's Pub (215 West Philadelphia Avenue, Morrisville, PA).
Back by popular demand, the top five reasons to attend an MLL General Meeting
5. We still have some empty volunteer positions - learn how you can get involved! For example, we're seeking volunteers to help open and close the concession stand this season.
4. We need people besides MLL sponsorship guru Kevin "Mr Motion" Radabaugh and majors/minors coach Steve "Just a Small-Town Boy" Perry to make and second motions. They have almost cornered the market.
3. We've used this space before to talk about Dacey's wings and Dacey's burgers. They're actually great, maybe even the best around. But people, the real unsung hero? Dacey's cole slaw.
2. Berkey watch: Will MLL equipment manager Mike Berkey skip his Thursday night underground fight club to attend an MLL meeting?
1. MLL President Jim Schaffer's rendition of "Shallow" from "A Star is Born" cannot be beat as a meeting-closer. You'll go "Gaga" over MLL President Jim Schaffer's meeting-closing rendition of "Shallow" (that's better)
In all seriousness, if you've never attended a league meeting, we do encourage you to check one out, learn about the many volunteer opportunities that are available at MLL, and get involved to help make the league a better organization.
